Our crew take the utmost care with your belongings but we know accidents can happen from time to time. Our comprehensive insurance gives you peace of mind should the unexpected happen.

Whether you are moving round the corner or relocating hundreds of miles away, you can do so safe in the knowledge that your belongings are fully covered by a comprehensive removals policy underwritten by a specialist insurer.

At Greenfrog Movers we believe insurance should be clear and easy to understand. That’s why we aim to be as transparent as possible with the insurance policies that we provide.

Our standard insurance cover

Under our Terms and Conditions we offer comprehensive “all risks” cover up to a value of £10,000. The amount of liability we accept is limited to a maximum claim of up to £10,000 for contents that are lost or damaged as direct result of our negligence or breach of contract, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Greenfrog Movers operate the British Association of Removers Terms and Conditions as approved by the Trading Standards Institute.

Our uplifted insurance cover

We can also uplift our comprehensive “all risks” cover up to a value of £25,000 for a one off cost of £45 + VAT. The amount of liability we accept is limited to a maximum claim of up to £25,000 for contents that are lost or damaged as direct result of our negligence or breach of contract, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Other upgrades available

If your total value of belongings exceeds £25,000, we offer comprehensive “all risks” cover up to a value of £500,000.

How do I make a claim?

In the unlikely event of a claim we will do everything we can to make the claims process move quickly and smoothly.

You must notify us within 7 days of delivery of your move. We will then pass all the required information on to our insurers and will assist with the claims process where possible.

What is Goods In Transit Insurance?

Goods In Transit Insurance covers your belongings from theft, loss or damage during the move. This insurance is built into our quotes as standard.
